Birth of the Star League.
2573
Formation of the 295th BattleMech Division and XLIX Corps.
2576
Formation of the 331st Royal BattleMech Division and V Corps.

Three thirty first is assigned to LCMR after the Lyran Commonwealth
threatens withdrawal from the Star League. Star League declares
war on the Rim Worlds Republic, Outworlds Alliance, and the Magistry
of Canopus and the 331st is sent there to put it down.
2581
Operation Mailed Fist gets under against the Rim Worlds Republic
and the 331st is sent in. The unit is torn up quite bad as they
were unprepared for the enemy infantry to cover the ground they
had just taken. The formations of the Infantry Div. weren't part
of the TOE for the Fifth Corps. The 331st was plagued by desertions
of techs and common soldiers as the unit as a whole was unprepared
for it, as was the entirety of the Star League Forces.
2582-2751
In
the intervening years the 295th BMD and the 331st RBMD participated
in several exercises with House Steiner for training. This allowed
the two units to help train the members' state's military. Both
units sent teachers to the military academies.
13th Infantry Division was formed in 2582.
The 326th BMD's Sergeant Galloway became the top gunslinger in the
unit during the Hidden Wars. He amassed a total of 76 confirmed
kills.
2752
Periphery tax law passed and caused the Periphery to revolt. Almost
all of the 100 battalion-sized Special Armed Services, the Black
Hearts, have been deployed.
2755
Birthday Proclamation. Richard Cameron orders General Aleksandr
Kerensky to leave the Rim Worlds Republic and to turn over all Star
League facilities over to Stefan Ameris. Stripping uncomplete and
the Rim Worlds Republic military obtains Star League intelligence
and equipment.
2757
Exercise of more than fifty divisions demonstrates the ability of
the Terran Military Region to defend itself.
2762
Richard Cameron turns 18. He orders all Houses and private armies
to disarm. The House Lords force him to rescind the order.
2764
During
2764, the 331st was posted to Lyran Commonwealth Military Region
District One, with its headquarters on the planet Zollikofen, under
the command of the Eleventh Army. In April of 2764 the 331st was
dispatched to New Vandenberg to put down the rebellion on 17 worlds
in the Periphery.
The 295th was posted to Lyran Commonwealth Military Region District
One under the command of the Eleventh Army.
The 326th was posted to Draconis Combine Military Region District
Two, with its headquarters on Hassi R'mei, under the command of
the Fifteenth Army.
2765
New Vandenburg and seventeen other worlds secede from the Star League.
Entire Periphery, except for Rim Worlds Republic, rises up in rebellion.
More than 60 percent of the units near Terra are moved to the Periphery.
Richard Cameron allows the Rim Worlds Republic military to garrison
the Terran Hegemony.
In 2765 with the Periphery Uprising under way the 331st was shifted
from Zollikofen to Zaprudy in District 3, under the command of the
Thirteenth Army.
The 295th was transferred from Zollikofen to Deia in District Two
under the command of the Twelfth Army.
The 326th jumped out to the Periphery heading out towards the Coreward
area on a mission to secure worlds from a rebelling Periphery State.
The 326th and the 13th Infantry Division suffered a mis-jump and
end up in the Salvation System.
2766
On December 26, 2766, Stefan Amaris kills the
entire Cameron line and takes control of all103 Terran Hegemony
Worlds. Stefan Amaris deploys a tactical nuke on the Royal Black
Watch Regiment.
In 2766 the 331st and 295th are told to hold it's position to await
the return of General Kerensky and then move in toward Terra to
retake the planet from the Usurper's forces.
2767
New Vandenburg is retaken and General Kerensky receives the news
of the coup. The 34th Royal BattleMech Division rushes to Epsilon
Indi and is destroyed by a System Defense Station. Rim Worlds Campaign
begins and the Star League Defense Forces conquers the Rim Worlds
Republic. The Star League Defense Forces uses the RWR for supplies
and as an attack base. SLDF forces are divided: One group strips
bases and sends to the Republic. The other group tests defenses.
2772
General Kerensky plans a three-axis assault. General Aaron De Chavilier
leads Task Force: Sun, Admiral John Brandt leads Task Force: Commonwealth,
and General Kerensky leads Task Force: Confederation. Moving up
through the Federated Suns, Lyran Commonwealth, and Capellan Confederation
the task forces link up and form a ring around the Terran Hegemony
in 2774.
During the Terran Campaign the 331st served with distinction, honor,
and with exceptional gallantry during the long struggle to retake
the crown jewel of the Star League and the birthplace of humanity,
under the command of Admiral Brandt's Task Force: Commonwealth.
During this time the V Corps lost two independent Mech regiments:
the 257th BattleMech and the 541st BattleMech.
2775-2778
Attack against System Defense Station controlled worlds and a new
ECM helps the Star League Defense Forces to take these worlds.
2777
Operation Liberation begins to retake Terra. Forty warships destroy
one hundred SDS drones and nine hundred thirty two ships jump. Twenty
fail to reach their destination. General Kerensky joins the 146th
Royal BattleMech Division in the fight to retake Moscow. 322nd BattleMech
Division and the 9th Mechanized Infantry Division land in Alaska.
The 135th Royal BattleMech Division lands on the Gulf Coast.
2779
September
3, 2779, the 9th Mechanized Infantry Division reaches the Court
of the Star League at Puget Sound. Stefan Amaris retreats to the
Canadian Palace. General De Chavilier leads the 9th Infantry Division
and the 26th Royal BattleMech Division. General Kerensky leads the
238th Royal BattleMech Division.
Stefan Amaris is captured and summarily executed for crimes against
humanity.
2780
October 10, 2780, General Kerensky is stripped of the title Protector
of the Star League and the House Lords order the SLDF to peacetime
deployments.
2781
August 12, 2781, the Star League is formally dissolved with each
of the House Lords claiming the title of First Lord.
2784
In 2784 after General Kerensky was disgraced by the Great Houses
he put out a call to all SLDF units still left intact after the
years of fighting and the 331st answered his call. They left with
other SLDF units out on the Exodus into the unknown regions of space.
On October 2-12, 2784, 1349 transports and 402 Warships arrive at
New Samarkand, DCMS. Operation Exodus leaves New Samarkand on November
5 and last seen at Gutara V, Rim Worlds Republic.
2786
The Fifth Corps and the 331st Royal BattleMech Division reach the
Cloak of Kerensky, along with the rest of the Exodus Fleet.
During the intervening years between 2786-2801 the 331st and supporting units colonized
the world of Circe.
2801-2821
Civil
War erupts between the different factions and lasts for twenty years
when Nicholas Kerensky returns from Strana Mechty.
General Aleksandr Kerensky dies.
2821
Nicholas Kerensky returns and institutes Clan Society as a new way
of life to prevent further outbreaks of Civil War amongst the SLDF
units. Peace is restored and the 331st is placed with Clan Wolverine.
Clan Wolverine, Nova Cat, Mongoose, and Snow Raven joined forces
to retake the world of Circe from the rogue SLDF units.
2823
Nicholas forces the Grand Council into voting to a Trial of Annihilation
of Clan Wolverine, over the excuse of a disputed Brian Cache housing most of the former 331st Royal Battlemech Division's equipment. Seventy-five percent of all Clan
Wolverine escapes into the Periphery to return to the Inner Sphere.
2825
331st Royal BattleMech Division sighted in the Inner Sphere and
thus began their return.
2979
The Tripitz Affair in Taurian Concordant space.
