Background:
Grayson was born to a single mother, widowed. Two months before his birth, Grayson's father, commander of a small detatchment in the Mercenary unit "Kell Hounds," was slain in combat due to a freak ejection seat failure. Grayson was brought up and trained within Kell Hound facilities, learning early on the art of killing. Records indicate extensive time spent with Kell Hound personal defense instructors.
Grayson enlisted with the Kell Hounds at an early age, starting out as a secretary for their leader at the time, General Titan Konrad. When he was 12, his formal training as a mechwarrior began, and steadily rose in the Non-Commissioned Officer rankings. His first combat drop in a battlemech was at age 14. His first kill was the same drop.
"Yakko," as his friends call him, has led an odd lifestyle up to this point and it's reflected in his unique demeanor. After the Kell Hounds' command dissolution, records on Yaklord were lost for several years. He was recruited by the Minnesota Tribe after becomiong a refugee at one of their bases after being rescued from a prison facility in a routine pirate-word raid by the 331st.
Yaklord remains in the Tribe to this day, where he continually recieves combat and leadership training. He has raised quickly through the ranks to lead a batallion. He is respected not only for his integrity and skill in leadership abilities, but because of his down to earth, while at the same time absurd, attitude towards life. His favorite quote: "Wepa!"
