Davis McClay was born on Terra as son of Gerhard McClay (a Comstar-Tech) and Doris McClay (a Housewife). He moved with his family to Trondheim within Free Rasalhague Republic as Comstar assigned his father there.
3050’s
Davis got Recruited by ROM at the age of 15. Fought with the Trondheim militia against the Clan Ghostbear invaders covering the Last Dropship bringing civilians off-world. "Claymore"as his comrades called him used an old modified Wolverine and managed to destroy a Ryoken and an Uller before his mech was disabled. Taken bondsman by Clan Ghost Bear after the battle.
One year later he stole his owners Loki and led the prison outbreak freeing the survivors of the Trondheim Militia. A Pirate Dropship landed, boarded the prisoners and dusted off. In exchange for some money and a passage to Outreach for all the prisoners Claymore gave the pirates the stolen Loki.
Comstar refused to give him info on the whereabouts of his family and Claymore vanishes from the inner Sphere.
3060’s
Davis appears as the head of a Pirate Band calling themselves 135th Royal Striker Regiment. The pirates raid several Lyran Alliance worlds before they were pinned down by MT. Refusing to fight the Tribe the 135th RSR was absorbed into MT. Claymore was kept as Regiments CO.
Not long after the 135th joined the Tribe McClay had a severe hovercraft accident. The injuries did not disable him physically but he suffered from amnesia. His comrades helped him to get a feeling for who he was again but he was not considered able to lead a regiment any more.
Claymore did a retraining with the MT Training Cadre and was given the rank Private and an oportunity to work the ranks up again. |
